FoldNotes for Mac is in beta. Sign up below and we’ll send you a signed, notarised build with automatic updates. Free to test during the beta; the app is paid at launch.

What you’re getting

FoldNotes for Mac is a native AppKit app. Two purchase options at launch: a one-time lifetime licence or a subscription — pick whichever way you prefer to buy software. Both unlock every feature; the only difference is billing.

FoldNotes ships as the Direct edition — downloaded straight from this site as a signed and notarised build, with automatic updates via Sparkle. It includes the fn command line tool for scripting and automation.

A Mac App Store edition is under consideration and not confirmed. If it ever ships it would not include the CLI, since Apple’s sandboxing rules don’t allow shipping a system-wide binary.

Requirements: macOS 15 Sequoia or later.
