Refund Policy
Effective date: 7 September 2026
FoldNotes for Mac has a free 7-day trial so you can try everything before you pay. If you buy and change your mind anyway, this is how refunds work.
Fourteen days, no questions
If you ask within 14 days of your first payment — a lifetime licence or the first payment of a yearly subscription — we refund it in full. You don’t have to give a reason.
Yearly renewals
A subscription renews automatically each year. You can cancel at any time before the renewal from the receipt email or by writing to us, and you keep using FoldNotes until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
If a renewal goes through that you didn’t want, tell us within 14 days of the charge and, provided you haven’t used FoldNotes since it renewed, we refund it in full.
If FoldNotes doesn’t work
If FoldNotes does not work as described on a supported version of macOS, tell us and we will fix it. If we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, we will refund you — however long ago you bought it. This is in addition to any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or the consumer law where you live.
How to ask
Email [email protected] with the email address you bought with, or reply to your receipt. Refunds are made by our reseller, Paddle, to the card or account you paid with, usually within five to ten business days depending on your bank.
When a purchase is refunded its licence key stops working. Your notes are plain files in your iCloud Drive and are not affected in any way.
Not covered
Purchases made through the Apple App Store are handled by Apple under Apple’s refund policy; we cannot see or process them. The iPhone and iPad app is free.
